( November 25, 2024, 2:05 PM EST) -- WASHINGTON, D. C. — In a Nov. 25 docket order, the U. S. Supreme Court invited the U. S. solicitor general to file a brief expressing the views of the U. S. government in a dispute involving dueling petitions for writs of certiorari in which a group of record labels and music publishers say the Fourth Circuit U. S.
