(September 28, 2022, 1:48 PM EDT) -- LUBBOCK, Texas — Researchers at Texas Tech University have found what they call a previously unknown potential source for per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) contamination in rural and agricultural environments after they analyzed 24 PFAS chemicals in 10 insecticide formulations used on a U.S. Department of Agriculture crop research field, with the contamination possibly affecting human food crops....
