(August 18, 2022, 12:01 PM EDT) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — A group of citizens on Aug. 17 filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) action against the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in District of Columbia federal court contending that the Corps did not respond to the group’s FOIA request for information related to a wind farm project over concerns that the construction could exacerbate the risk to drinking water already posed by the presence of “multiple known plumes” of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS)....
